Im looking at my records and I have a Eugenie Aurez dit Guerard dit Laferriere daughter of Pierre Aurez dit Guerard dit Laferriere born Aug 1, 1826 St. Elisabeth married to Marcelline Lambert dit Aubin March 31 1856 St. Elizabeth de Joliette. The other two children are Joseph Odilon and Elizabeth Ovila. Could these be the ancestors of you Euginie? Also there are two distinct branches of Laferriere ancestors. One is the Aurez, (Ore) line that descended from the Houray dit Laferriere line and the other is the Charron dit Laferriere line. both dropped the family name and went with the dit names. My line moved from Berthierville to Mass to Conn. The other went to Sherbrook on to New Hampshire to Mass. Both lines moved to RI and Vermont and New York.
