My info is that Israel was born in Montreal in 1840. His father was Joseph Pierre Lafayette, born in France in 1814. Israel children are: Israel b. 5/30/1863, Edward b. 5/20/1861, David b. 5/29/1865,Peter no b. but married Lois Sargent in 1895 then Alice Morrison in 1900, Sarahb. 9/29/87, Minnie, not sure when b. but m. Frank Tate 5/29/86
Lena b. 8/30/73m. Purinton Riley 4/26/92. Norah 4/10/67 I'm descanded from Israel's brother Edward who's 5 years younger. Most of the Lafayettes were located in Addison county Vt, and some are buried in Lincoln Vt. Have some more info if you want
