Louis Lafave who did he marry?

HI, My Grandmother ( Anna Grace Lafave ) is the daughter of Louis Lafave ( 1892 - 1968 ). The information I have from her is that her mother was Elizabeth Lauber. Everything that I find online indicates that Louis married Alexina ( Ida) Lauber.
It is a mystery to me as I cannot find anything to back up my grandmother's memory of Elizabeth.

Peter Lauber would have been her mother's father. I found that Peter Lauber was married to Charlotte Carter and they settled in Williamstown ( where my grandmother was born) They had a few children but one of them Mini carter founds familiar becasue I heard my grandmother mention her bfore. Mini would have been born April 17, 1909. I cannot find a husband nor children from her.

Any help would be appreciated!
