This appears to be a very complex situation but you seem to be fiercely determined to find all the pieces and solve the puzzle.

Here are a few tidbits you might already have: New Orleans birth records show an unamed colored child born July 28, 1863 to JOHN BARRABINO and ARSENE LATLENER; also I have a LOUIS ALEXIS LESASSIER (b. circa 1800) who married CARMELITE BAHAM (b. circa. 1805). Their daughter ADELAIDE married a BARABINO and their daughter BRIDGET married a LADNER. This was a mulatto family and they apparently lived near Madisonville, Louisiana.
