a letter from my grand-mother says:
" i was given a scrap of paper from a deceased aunt by marriage & all it said was this;
ADELARD LACROIX & MARIE BONSOUPIRE
FROM: DU LUDE, DIOCESE D'ANGERS, ANJOU, FRANCE
1647
there are no other documents, only this"
my grand mothers' mother was Doris LaCroix.
she was born June 1897/1898, in St. Phillipe a little town outside Montreal.
my father claims that there is a statue in either montreal, quebec city, or even ottawa with a description or picture of our ancestors on the LaCroix side.
i do apologize, i have nothing more.
this will irritate me until i find the line.. thanks for looking.
