Catherine HUBERT dit Lacroix was born and baptized on Sept 20, 1771 in Yamaska, Quebec, Canada.
She was the dau. of Jacques HUBERT dit Lacroix and Josephte ROY, who were married on 28 Aug 1769 at St-Constant de Laprairie.
Catherine was married to François "HERTEAU" (various spellings for him found in the records, incl. HERTAULT, ARTAUD and HARTEAU) on 29 Jan 1787 in Laprairie. François was thew son of Jacques "ARTAUD" and Véronique DEMERS.
I have records for six bros & sis of Catherine, and a possible 7th one. As well as records on fours children born to François HERTEAU and Cath, HUBERT dit Lacroix, incl. Marie-Catherine, born and Bapt on 18 Nov 1787.
If interested, I can take you up that HUBERT dit Lacroix line to the first immigrant to Canada, who was firts married in Montreal in 1681.
Same thing about the HERTAULT line.
