Hello I am researching Clara M. Lacroix, born in Massachusetts in 1866. However, it looks like that in 1866 MA Vital index, there was only a child by the name of Marie Lacroix born in 1866, in Southbridge,MA - no Clara. I’m wondering if this could perhaps be the same person. Perhaps Clara was the middle name and she used it as her first name to avoid confusion with the other Marie, as often we know families did. My Lacroix, Clara M. as she is listed in later census records, was married to William Parsons in 1881, I believe in Adams, MA. They then lived in CT.
Does this name appear in anyone's line at all. Thank you for your help.
