My first wife was a LaCour descended from Alphonse and Hilaire. I did some research on the line for my son's benefit. I didn't read the book about the LaCour's, but did my own research using the published church records of Pointe Coupee and St. Paul's Church in Mansura. I did find some of it rather confusing, but what I came up with, which could be wrong, is: Nicholas LaCour (I), Colin, Cyprien, Colin, Alphonse. The confusing part is the nicknames. Colin seems to have been used at times for Nicholas.
