HI Robin-- Thanks for the comeback. I have tried all over Northern NY at town clerks offices looking for any info on Julius.Two of the town clerks offices had fires and there are no records available.I am going to write Albany to see if they have anything there..I don't know if there were siblings but I would imagine this Albert might be one as they seemed to live near siblings then. I have 3 alberts in my line but not one was born in 1861 or even near that date.I do not have a John born zbout 1849 but I do have a Jean Baptiste born 12/28/1845 died 1875 who married Lucy Chatelain b May 8,1846 d 1888..Could this be the John you are talking about??my email address is dspi106723@aol.com..thank you Dorothy
