Asking assistance for my Gparents family -
Jacques 'Eusebe" Alphonse LaCHAPELLE, b. 20 Jul 1870, in Weedon, PQ Canada and d. ???, m. Alida Dube' (1871-1904) dau of Joseph DUBE' and Virginia LeBEAU, on 17 May 1891 in New Bedford, Ma. The couple had 5 or 6 children and Eusebe abandoned the family and was supposed to go with his mother, Alponsine, in Connecticutt. When Alida d. in 1904, the boys became wards of the State of Mass. and some were sent to the Angel Guardian Homes in Boston. May have also been one daughter but not proven.
Alphonse "Elio" LaCHAPELLE, b. 14 Mar 1892, New Bedford, Ma, m. Rose ??? and lived in Rhode Island. He may have run a bar and restaurant in RI.
Ernest LaCHAPELLE, b. 1 Mar 1894 in New Bedford, Ma. d. 19 Apr 1957 in St Louis, Mo. Ernest was adopted by a BROOKS family in Gerald, Mo. and was known as John BROOKS. He m. Ida ??? and had one adopted son.
Arthur LaCHAPELLE b. 30 Dec 1895 in New Bedford, Ma He was living around the DC and Bethesda, Md area in 1955. No other info.
Wilfred J LaCHAPELLE, b. 6 Jun 1898 in New Bedford, Ma. d. 14 Apr 1958 in Stockton, Ca. Wilfred m. Pearl P ??? in Ca. Worked an a projectionist in the Ritz Theater for many years. no other info.
Ulric George LaCHAPELLE, (my Father) b. 30 Nov 1901 in New Bedford, Ma. d. 10 Aug 1966 in Stoneham, Ma. m. Anastacia Esther LOCHIATTO on 20 Nov 1921 in Boston, Ma.
Rumored to be one Female, possibly named ROSE but I haven't proved it to date.
