Am preparing a book with documentation regarding descendants of Joseph Lachapelle (1814-1892) and Adelaide Forcier (1815-1893) who died in Weedon, Wolfe County, Province of Quebec, Canada. This couple had at least thirteen children, nine of whom left descendants with large families.
The book also includes descendants of Joseph Lachapelle's parents and grandparents.
I recently commissioned a tombstone for Joseph and Adelaide and this has been installed in the cemetery of St. Janvier de Weedon. A celebratory Mass is to be said for our ancestors on Sunday,June 29th, 2008. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is a descendant concerning updating family files, submitting photographs, etc. Also, all are welcome to attend this ceremony.
