I sure hope someone can help me resolve this mystery.
I know that Émile Lachance married Hélena Robitaille. Quite possibly they were married in 1914 in Fall River, Bristol Co., MA.
They had twelve children:
Pierre Evariste Lachance (aka Father Lachance); Hector, Beatrice, Raymond, Lilliane, Juliette, Gerard (also a priest), Norman, Robert, Émile, Bertrand, and Roland.
I know also that Hélena Robitaille was the daughter of Michel Flavien Robitaille & Georgiana Gauthier (Michel's second marriage - first was to Zoe Cyr). I'm also looking for their exact marriage date/location.
Can anyone help me with Émile Lachance's lineage?
Although my surname is Barney I am of French Canadian ancestry and have many Lachance, Gauthier, Robitaille relatives.
