Hmmm. Interesting. Annabel LaCasse married Joseph Nadeau, and had three sons (according to what I found on RootsWeb) one of which was named Olivier or Oliver Nadeau. That Mary Smith is no doubt the child of Marie and John Baptiste Smith. So, the elder Jean Baptiste LaCasse obviously liked taking in the grandkids.
I don’t know about Margarette, but Gee is a name in Monroe. Michael is a bit of a mystery. Right, it could be a census taker’s error, or it could be another grandkid. We can’t be sure at this time.
