Kurt,
I don't have marriage certificates or anything like that. Like I said this is info researched by Mildred Roe. and she did hire that researcher up in Canada. That being said I have Jean/John LaCasse and Elizabeth on the 1850 and 1860 Census of Monroe Co. Michigan. I have a feeling that whoever submitted that info to Family Search had the wrong date of birth. On the 1860 census it gives Johns age as 87yrs old and Elizabeths age as 88yrs old. That would have made her born ca.1772! I know census takers make mistakes too, but I think this might be closer to being accurate than the Family Search info. I also have a copy of his estate record and it mentions his wife as being Elizabeth. I also have his will, but it doesn't mention his wife by name. Just says things like locing wife etc; stuff like that.
