My 4 times grandfather, Jean-Baptiste de Lacaille came from Îles Réunion to Brazil. His family was originally from France but as his father VICENTE JEAN-BAPTISTE - who was a doctor with the Napoleon armada-boat sunk near those islands.He was made prisioner by the English who were in charge at that time but was released later and stayed there owner of some sugar cane plantations.He was decorated with the Légion d'Honneur, thus the De before Lacaille.The names of his ancestors were: Vicente Jean Baptiste Lacaille(1778-1856) married to Marie Fançoise Toussaint - son of: Jean-Batiste Lacaille(1745-1783), married to Catherine Martin Lacaille(1770-?), son of Jean Baptiste Lacaille(1715-1726) married to???, son of Pierre Lacaille(1681-???), married to Elizabeth Sorraine(1689-???), son of Gérard de Lacaille (1653-1712),married to Marie Hilbert de Lacaille (1658-???), son of Jacques Lacaille(1626-1690), married to Perret Zelarga(1630-???), son of Jean Lacaille(1582-???), married to Henriette(Henriquette Colbert)(1586-1657), son of Roulin Lacaille, married to Jeanne Polonceau(1552-1594), sonf of Gilles Lacaille, married to Simone Peuchet Notify Administrator about this message?
