I just recently started researching the LaCaille and Fellman families of Leavenworth. My great grandmother was Nora LaCaille Fellman, sister of William LaCaille...While in Kansas over the holidays, I was able to locate the gravesite of William and Nora's parents in the Kickapoo Cemetery. Their names are listed as Julian J. LaCaille and Cenora. Eugene E. LaCaille also is listed on the tombstone...Is the Victorian house you refer to the one that sits on a gravel road in the Salt Creek Valley? We had thought that Julian operated a hotel there? I grew up just a couple minutes from there on what was U.S. 73 highway (now called Santa Fe Trail)....In addition to the LaCaille family, I would appreciate any information about the George and Nora LaCaille Fellman family of Leavenworth. They had 11 children - George, Al, Gene, Bertha, Rose, Margaret, Clare Louise, Anna, Mary and Catherine. I think the 11th died as an infant. Anna Fellman Hund was my grandmother. We're trying to determine where the Fellman home would have been located. They were produce farmers. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
