Jean - If you are the Jean Lacaille that emailed Jan LaCaille (my niece) I have information re Hubert Alexander LaCaille who went from the Quebec area to the U.S. and enlisted in the Union Army when he was 16 then to Indiana and finally to Colorado where he became a quartz miner.
