I don't know Hubert, nor had I seen the Le-prefix till your message, but there was a lot of variations in spelling, and changing names. My gr-gr-grandmother was Zoe Caille, b. 22 Oct 1810 L'acadie, Quebec. Her father was Toussaint Caille, m. Josephte Garault. His father was Godfroy Caille m. Josette Banlier. They may have been related to Hubert. You might contact the Soc. Genealogique Canadienne-Francaise in Montreal. They charge for their services, but can provide a great starting point that you might never find. Do you have Hubert's death record, maybe with birth/death/parent info?
