Hello Claude,
Benjamin Laboon was my great-grandfather. I am interested in the information you have on him. My dad remembers his grandfather well. He actually lived with him for awhile. Louella passed away not too long ago. She was his 2nd wife. His first wife was my great-grandmother. She was Nora Richey (1st cousins). Louella married Jones Parkins after Ben died. I was wondering where you got the Initial J. for his middle name? Louella and my dad have always called him Benjamin B. Laboon. What can you tell me about Ben's parents? I have they were Joseph Allen Laboon Jr. and Palestine Richey. I would like to have any other information you may have. I have a copy of Leonardo Andrea's history(dated 1953) that you have mentioned from Latter Day Saints Library. While he has a lot of information it is very confusing. Would love to know his sources. Have you seen any other history on the Laboon's he wrote? Ben still has grandchildren in the Pickens/Easley SC area.
