Thanks for the reply. Since my initial posting I acquired a copy of her death certificate. It lists John M. (monroe) LaBoon and Sara Jane Phillips as her parents.
Most of the research I have done on John and Sara never listed Lucy as their daughter. Could you reply with any info you have on Lucy and her siblings?
My mother recounts an interesting story that may connect with the LaBoon branch in Tx. Her father, Roy Alden Edwards, Lucy's 1st child, went as a young man prior to marrying to work with some relatives (?LaBoon)in Texas around 1900. I'm trying to find out more details.
