I've found some information regarding a married of Lucie Vaure (born around 1870) to Simeon LaBonte. Supposedly, they were married around 1891, but I doubt this information is accurate. Here's why: Simeon was from Quebec and Lucie was born in Las Vegas, NM. It seems that back in the late 1800's there wouldn't have been a lot of travel going on between New Mexico and Canada (how long would it have taken to travel that far?). I can also find no record of Simeon LaBonte ever being in New Mexico.
Can anyone confirm or disprove this information?
