I am looking for any information about John B. LaBonte and his family. He was born Oct 12, 1852 and died October 26, 1925. It is believed that he was born in Canada. He married several times - the 1st I believe was Matilda Chocotle - a son David L, born 1874 who married Rachel Bowden. Next he married Dometillie Turcotte and they had a son, Joseph J. born in 1877 - he married Helen Corteau. Joseph died in 1960 - I believe in Maine. John's 3rd wife was Celia Hibbard or Hebart - they had 3 children - Alfred Leon, Lillian and Edmund. I know that Alfred was born in Dover, NH - his birth certificate indicates that his father was born in "Canada". I have recently found out that John B. died in Wells, Maine. If anyone has any information on this line of the LaBonte family I would love to hear from you. Thank you. Sue Labonte
