Looking for information on Joseph La Bee b. 1812 Canada d. 1892 La Salle CO. Ill. Married first-Deborah Canruff in Canada before 1844. Immigrated to Ill around 1840-1844. Settled in La Salle apprx 1851. Deborah Canruff La Bee also born in Canada apprx 1817 died 1870 in La Salle Ill.
Children of this marriage were:1) Richard La Bee(only son) b. Canada apprx 1844 m. Charlotte Radford d. ?; 2) infant daughter died at infancy b. ? La Salle 3) Mary b. apprx 1849 died apprx 1882 married Geo H. Beckwith Sept 16 1869. Note she has three children listed as her heirs on her fathers will-Nellie Rubert and Myrtle and Josephine Beckwith. 4)Rosetta(also known as Effie) b ? d? m. Frederick J. Hines Feb 7 1870 5) Tanta (also known as T. Anna) b.?d? m. Samuel H Batton Sept 26,1860 6) Catherine (also known as Kate) b?d? m. William W. Olney June 9th 1877 7)Hattie b?d? m. Alexander Bickert 12/20/1882. Note she would have died prior to 1892 as she is listed deceseased on fathers will. Fathers will lists two children as her heirs-Harry Bickert and Jay Bickert.
Wife number two for Joseph was Catherine (Katherine) Maria Woods. No children by this marriage that I know of. They were married July 4,1872 in La Salle. She died 1903 La Salle. Woods was a previous marriage name for her and not her maiden name-maiden name unknown.
Who were parents of Joseph La Bee. Did he have brother named Alfred(who spelled his name as Labbee).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
