Hi,
Do you have any more info on Michel LaBatte son of Louis George and his 1st wife the Chippewa Indian? My Michel was a fur trader from Ontario. He was my gtgtgt grandfather. He had 2 sons who stayed in Canada one went to Detroit and one Francois came to Minnesota who was a fur trader also,he worked for the American Fur Trading Co.
Any information will be appreciated.
