I was told that Abare was Hubert in US. Thanks for the post maybe I should check some of the ones you mentioned. I am working on connecting David/Joseph Abare/Labare/Hubert who is somehow related to my Turner/Betourne lines from Plattsburgh, Clinton County, NY. I found a Francis Labare in 1840 Plattsburgh that I am tracking in hopes it will lead to David and so on.
