Hello, I'm looking to see if anyone has any information on my g-g-grandfather, John/Jno Baptist LaBarge. The info I have is that he was born in Canada on January 25, 1828, and his parents are John Baptist LaBarge & Margaret Deduie/Dubruie or possibly Dibree or something similar. He died in Mosinee, WI. He married my g-g-grandmother, Sophie(a) in Mosinee, WI in 1864, and they had about 7 children that we know of: Francis(Franziska)bn 1865; John James bn 1867 & moved to Lac Du Flambeau Reserv, WI; Joseph bn 1871 -no further record aft 1880 census; Louis bn1873 - moved to Lac Du Flambeau Indian Reserv; Margaret bn 1876 - not in 1880 census; Samuel Benjamin (my g-grandfather)(1877-1955); Henry bn 1879 - no furth rec after 1880 census; & Leo bn 1880 no further record or information.
I'm not sure where in Canada he was from. Any information would be appreciated.
