Tranquilino Labadie (Rep.) b. 6 July 1854, in Santa Fe, N.M. Educ. This info was taken from a book REPESENT NEW MEXICANS. It has a good picture of both Roman and Tranquilino.By the way do you have pictures of Lorenzo and Family? I would love to see a picture of him.
The following info was given to me, I have not checked it myself.
Roman never married.
Lorenzo m. Dolores Criada
Beatrice m. 1st Juan Patron, friend of Billie the kid. 2nd. Estolano Ortega
Josefa m. Crecenciano Gallegos
Tranquilino De Jesus m. Florentina Romero
Maria Paula Teresa Consuelo ?
Juan m. Dorotea Dolores Chavez
As far as books almost any book with New Mexico history will have some thing about Lorenzo or some of the family in it.I know St. Vrain,Kit Carson were worth writting books about. But because Labadie went against the POLITICIANShe has never had a book written on him and some one needs to. Now back off my rant! There are 3 books that I like. 1 Little Lion of the Southwest, its mainly about Lorenzos bro. inlaw but worth reading. 2 Turmoil in New Mexico by William Keleher 3 The Army and the Navajo by Gerald Thompson.
