no connection but according to census records, 1910 Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wi and 1920 Hoboken, Hudson, NJ his parents were Rudolph Laabs, born abt 1876/1877, in Germany and Gertrude, born abt 1886/1887, in Germany. His sibkungs shown are Gertrude born abt 1902 and Adolph born abt 1915. If you would like copies of these census drop me a line at Diggin4Kin@aol.com
