Am interested in corresponding with any Sims in Winn Parish La in the 1850-1860

I am related to the Richard Crowson Sims listed as a member of the Eastern Star Lodge of Winn Parish La

Richard's son Simeon Oswald White Sims was also their as well.

I dont know if the Elisha Sims ia a relative or not to them.

Sims, R. C., b. 22 Sep 1820, d. 18 Jan 1908, Masonic symbol

his wife Elizabeth Ann White Sims is buried in Compton Cem in Crawford McLennan Co TX

Sims, E.A. Feb. 17, 1821 Feb. 7, 1909
They married in Dekalb co Alabama on 9 Feb 1839

Also buried in Compton are the following
Anderson, Louis H. May 25, 1850 Oct. 19, 1943
Anderson, Nancy N. Aug. 29, 1847 July 13, 1929 (Nancy Sims dau of Richard C Sims and Elizabeth Ann White)

Gibson, Julia Apr. 22, 1859 Oct. 6, 1890 (Julia Ann Sims Gibson Buried beside her mother Elizabeth Ann White Sims)

Their daughter Mattie Martha Sims Kimball and her husband and one daughter are buried here also.
