I am looking information on the familis of John J. Miller and George Ward of East Felicana Parish. They were in East & West Felicana Prishes before the Civil War. One of the Millers, Griffin was killed in an explosion of is riverboat. Mary, the daughter of George & Julia Ward married Wilson C. Miller, the son of John J. Miller. The Millers came from New York State, before the War. Some were ministers, teachers, lawyers, etc. Are there any relatives around? Wilson C. & Mary (Ward) Miller are my grt-grandparents.
