Lookup, please, from DAR records for Paine

Would someone who has access to DAR records please do a lookup for me. I'm searching for Edward L. Paine who apparently has a tombstone in W. Feliciana Parish. His children (I think) were Ferdinand Claiborne Paine, b. about 1895 in Adams Co., MS, but lived most of his life in W. Felic. Parish. His sister was Charlotte Paine (my g-g-grandmother), and they had a brother, name of John C. Paine. I found some DAR records on Ferdinand's daughter, Sarah Jane Rogillio--would like to know if Ferdinand is the same as the hero of the Mexican War who was written about by Henry Chambers in Louisiana history books. Also need to find out if his father was actually Edward L. Paine--and where he was born and who was his wife? Thanks for any help anyone can give. This has been a 20 year search. Pat in PA
