Brewer/Bruer and Tomblin Connections

Hello, my aunt married into the Brewer/Bruer family in Epps, West Carroll,LA. My cousin has told me her Brewer grandmother was a Tomblin before she married William Brewer. I saw a message on the Ancestry West Carroll Parish,LA message board, that a Sarah Tomblin married Wm. Bruer. Another lady told me that William B. Brewer married Sarah Tomblin in West Carroll Parish, LA on 18 August 1892.
William Brewer was born in 1870 in AL or GA.He died fairly young, my cousin didn't know when.
I would like contact with families of either name, who may be related, in order to get some of the correct, older information into a family history.

William's father was supposed to have ran away, or at least left home in AL, at a very young age. Therefore, he didn't have a lot of family information. I am wondering if the "B." in William Brewer's name was Benjamin, one son was Ben, as the name has come down in the various families. Ben married a Noland woman, who is a grandaughter of Sarah Tomblin. Ben's wife was still alive, as of recently, but I don't think she was communicating much.I think Ben's wife had many brother's and sister's.

William may have gone by the name of "Pete". He also gave the name of Pete to one of his sons. William and Sarah had four sons and a daughter named Nancy. Ed is the son my aunt married. Ed was born 10 August 1898 in Epps, West Carroll Parish, and I believe he died 7 December 1982. He was buried in Forrest West Cemetery, Caddo Parish, LA, my cousin told me. But I haven't found the cemetery listing to see where exactly.

Thank you. Joy
