Frank Kubas/Kubas Dept. Store

Looking for anyone who remembers a Dept. store named Kubas' Department store. It was open in the 1940s in Baton Rouge.

I am also looking for information about it's owner, Frank Kubas. He was married to my great aunt, Louisa North. I understand that there may still be some relatives in the area, but I have not been able to find them. One of the married names of their children is "Fisher".

Frank Kubas died in Baton Rouge, and so did his wife, Louisa, but I have not been able to locate their death information on any indices. Can somebody help? I know that Frank Kubas was a Catholic, and was in the Knights of Columbus.

Any leads will be greatly appreciated.
