I am researching Richard BROWN who died in West Baton Rouge Parish in 1821. His wife was Jane BRIDGES BROWN who died there also in 1837. These BROWN's came from Davidson County, Tennessee late 1790's to Iberville Parish later West Baton Rouge Parish. Richard BROWN & Jane BRIDGES BROWN ad these children:
1.) Moses BROWN-Married-Mary BROWN-6 July 1837 St. Gabriel's, Iberville Par. LA. She was daughter of Thomas BROWN & Ester TARINGTON/TARKINGTON. Mary was a widow of Thomas CORNELIUS of Davidson Co. Tennessee.
2.) Richard BROWN-He married a Sarah WHITE
3.) Jane BROWN-She married a James BROWN
4.) Rachel BROWN-She married a John MILIEAU, this surname MILIEAU may be spelled wrong. If so, WHAT could it be?
5.) William C. BROWN-He married Mary Joseph DAIGLE-28 May 1822 at St. Gabriel's in Iberville Parish. She was daughter of Paul Oliver DAIGLE & Marie J. RICHARD. They had children: Mary Ann Amelia, Samuel, Carmelite, William & Joseph BROWN.
6.) Sarah BROWN-Born-@1801. She married William C. TUCKER.
7.) Thomas BROWN-He died 1828 W.Baton Rouge Par. He married Mary HAYS. They had children known: Rachel BROWN-mar. James DELAUNE (son of Nicholas DELAUNE & Mary ADAMS DELAUNE) ; Lydia Ann BROWN-Born-1818 Clinton, LA. Mar. John Barclay BIXLER; Emanuel BROWN-no info.
8.) Joseph BROWN-Lived East Feliciana Parish.
9.) Terry B. BROWN-Mar. Jane BOGAN. Midde name may be "BRIDGES"
