Narie Haymon
Funeral services for Mr. Narie Haymon, 86, of Pitkin will be held at 2
p.m. today, Nov. 19, in the Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Cravens with
the Rev. Arlen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Branch
Cemetery in Pitkin under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral
Home of DeRidder. Mr. Haymon died Monday, Nov. 17, in the Pine Haven
Nursing Home in Rosepine. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors
include five daughters, Nina Marlin of Pitkin, Barbara Baird of Colmesneil,
Texas, Lorena Martin of Texas City, Texas, June Boughton of Oakdale and
Shirley Wilson of Beaumont, Texas; one brother, James "Kirby" Haymon of
Many; two sisters, Delmer James of LaMarque, Texas, and Delcie Tilley
Brunk of Anacoco; 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
