I am also researching This Jarrell Line. Check my website for info www.http://kbrntly.tribalpages.com. Elcie Jarrell is Allen's son. He is my husbands great uncle. His father is James Henry Jarrell. He supposedly drowned on a ferryboat when it sank on the Sabine River, 1925. DeRidder daily News Archives article "Old ferry discovered on Sabine River". His eldest son was James Sullivan Jarrell.
I will be glad to pass along any info I get. I don't have alot as of now. I am trying to put all the pieces together. Most of the family is buried in the Evans Community Cemetery in Evans, LA Vernon Parish. Hope I have helped.
