Seeking information on E. W. WEST husband of Mary E. LANGTON.
The succession papers for William LANGTON who died in Oct 1879 (Succession Record #1007, 11th Judicial Court of LA in and for the Parish of Vernon) lists among his children, Ellen WEST (Mary Ellenor LANGTON).
Mary E.(LANGTON) WEST applied for a widows Civil War Pension naming E. W. West as her husband. E.W. WEST served in the Texas Regiment, Waterhouse Co. (Reel CP1.17-Microdex 2; Sequence 15.) His file was included in the file of James P. Bridentahl. Records indicated he was from Vernon Parish, LA.
Can anyone help me identify this E. W. WEST? Did Mary and E. W. WEST have children?
