I have a postcard with a photo of the Pickering Graded School in Pickering, LA which was sent to my aunt (by marriage) and postmarked 1913. It is signed Valney E. Pickering.

The back reads: "Helo, Coz. I am going to send you one of these just for fun. If there wasn't many pupils here they were scared of small pox, but I never did get uneasy. Say, Miss______and I.R. the same as two now. We don't even correspond now. What U. think about that!"

If anyone is interested in having a copy, let me know and I will scan it to you.
