Dear Nancy, Thanks for the message! I did finally find out the correct spelling for Madeline Mestepey, Thanks to the grand daughter of a neighbor and family friend of Madeline's. The history is a bit strange as I found 2 possible families for Albert Lee. The other deadends on me and even my friend who helped and is a professional genealogist can't find more. But this line is the most likely. I also have the Mestepey line, but on paper, I lost it on line in a computer crash. I have since learned how to do backups of my backups! Thanks again, Mary

I found a few Lee's :o) I welcome all corrections.
This is a line of descent for Albert Lee Family from Vermilion Parish, Louisiana to Shropshire, England 1100
Albert nor his father were born in England. Madeline's father did come from France. Lee is the last name, except when the spelling changes further down.

2.Albert and Madeline Mestepey (I finally have the correct spelling!)

4.Edgar and Mary Rosabelle Petry
5.Edgar "Mark" and Rachel White
6.Peter and Rebecca Taylor
7.William and Mary and Marie Thorton
8.William and Dorothy Taylor
9.William and Alice Felton
10.Richard Henry Lee and Anna Constable
Richard was born 1613 in England and the first to emmigrate to Virginia.
11.John and Jane Hancock
12.Johannes (John) and Jacota (Joyce) Rommey
13.Humphry and Katherine (le) Blount
14.Thomas and Johanna Morton
15.John De Lee and Elizabeth Corbin
16.John De Lee and Jocasa Packington

18.John De La Lee and Matilda De Erdington
19.Sir John De La Lee and Petronilla Drayton
20.Sir Reginald De La Lee and unknown
21.Sir Thomas De La Lee and Petronilla Corbitt
There are two or three generations in here that are impossible to unscamble, it seems that sons, grandsons and nephews were kind of interchangeable at this point
2?.. Sir Reyner De Lega
2?. Hugo De Lega - circa1100
