Tim, Thank you for your information. I actually have copies of all of the land purchases. As for the 1868 death date, I found that several years ago and now some of my research materials have gone missing and that was part of it. 1868 could very well be wrong. If I could find my documentation, but no luck so far.
I plan on making a trip to the Union Parish area later this year, so maybe I can figure some of this out there.
