James and Elizabeth Tidwell were married about 1857, probably in Union Parish. They had the following children:
Mary Elizabeth bn abt 1859, John F bn abt 1860, Janett Lougena bn abt 1864, Joseph M bn abt 1866 and James Robert bn 1873.
James Robert Tidwell died 20 Mar 1955 in Monroe. His death certificate lists his mother as Elizabeth Shultz.
Elizabeth Shultz Tidwell was born 3 Mar 1836 in Missouri. She died 20 Mar 1907. She and James are both buried in the Downsville Cemetery.
How does Elizabeth Shultz relate to the other Union Parish Shultz families? Any information would be appreciated.
