Reuben Wall(s) (1811-1838) who are his Parents?

Reuben Wall(s) (1811-1838) is my 3G-Grandfather. I'm trying to establish who his parents are. Some say he is the son of Sharack Wall & Elizabeth Matthews others have him as being the son of Howell Wall & Rebecca Ann Varner/Varna/Vernon. Reuben married Martha C. Caver, my 3G-Grandmother. They are both buried in Mosley Bluff, Union Parish, Louisiana.
