I am writing a book on the Adams-Gibson Louisiana Brigade of the Army of Tennessee. One of the regiments of this brigade was the 13th Louisiana Infantry. The only company of this regiment not from New Orleans was Company G, the St. Mary Volunteers. This company was raised in August of 1861 at Fort Berwick. Arrived at Camp Moore on August 27th and on September 10th, the company was mustered into Confederate service. The company began the war with 109 men. Im seeking bio information or copies/transcriptions of any primary material (letters, diaries, especially photographs). Again, let me stress. I am not interested in originals. This is an uncomplete working roster of the St. Mary Volunteers: Wilson, Thomas G.-Captain Murphy, James-1st Lt. Strawbridge, H.H.-2nd Lt. Dumartrait, Adolph, Jr. Lt. Allen, Benton Arrington, J. Bodoin, Alfred Bugbee, A.B. Burdsell, Ed. Buwage, J. Carlin, James Cook, Christ C. Cook, F.D. Cook, Webster Coppenix, J.L. Curtis, W.H. Daly, F. David, Hyppolite Doty, F. Dubose, J.B. Frazier, James French, Josiah Fleming, James Fleming, P. Gigleux, P.E. Grillet, J.B. Hebert, Henry, William Johnson, J.A. Lackey, J.S. Lamb, Charles Latour, M. Lowrey, R. Menard, John McKerall, Web Moore, J. Muggar, James Nursen, Barney Page, Frank Pelerin, F. Penn, William Stuart, Bailey Steinwetz, A. Tovey, William Trastore, Earnest Vicks, Joe Wagoner, J.O.
