Hollie,

I found an Edmond Bulliard in the 1850 St. Martin Parish census. Here is what they had for his family:

1)BULLIARD, Edmond, 26 Male, real estate value = $800, born in LA.
2) Celeste, 22 Female, born in LA
3) Estelle, 2 Female, born in LA
4) Ademan (possibly your Alphonse Adelmar?), 1 Male, born in LA

The only other Bulliard in the census is Valsin Bulliard, age 20 Male, who lived next door in the home of the Caillers.

All of the above lived in Breaux Bridge.

As for Potiers in the census:
1)Charles (50) and Marcelite (42) Potier lived in Pointe with 7 children, age 21 and under, listed.
2) Alexander Potier, age 54, lived in Pointe
with his son and probably his mother.

Hope this hleps!
