LAMBERTH

I have hit a very solid brick wall in searching for information concerning my great grandfather's death. I, also, am searching for information about who his parents and siblings were. His name -- ROBERT LAMBERTH -- born about 1849/1850 in Louisiana (don't know exactly where), the first time I can positively identify him in a census is the 1870 St. Landry parish census. He appears with E. G. Cropper and family. Then in the 1880 census for St. Landry parish, he and his family are shown. (He married Letha Cropper in 1871. Record of that marriage in Father Hebert's books.) Sometime after that census, he must have died, as Letha remarried in 1896. I would appreciate any information about Robert Lamberth.
