Hi Bambi, a succession record is a probate record. In other words it is a record of a person's belonings that are sold when he dies. It will give names and dates, such as the day when that person died, who his/her wife/husband were, children, where they lived, what land he owned. And most of all it tells who bought what and who the deceased left things for.
