An abstract of Justilien's 1887 marriage record is found in DIOCESE OF BATON ROUGE CATHOLIC CHURCH RECORDS (DOBR), Volume 17, page 382. It lists his parents as "Mayre" Leboeuf and Suzanne Walpy. The marriage record of Mayre is abstracted in Volume 9 of DOBR, page 349, as follows: Moise Lebouf, son of Moise LeBouf and Marie Caillouet, married 7 Oct 1861 at St Michael Church in Convent to Susanne Valpy, dau of Edouard Valpy, deceased, and Eugenie Panvel.
DOBR Volume 5, page 403, has the marriage of Moise to Marie Caillouet. His parents are listed as Michel LeBoeuf and Marie Bourg, deceased, and Marie's as Joseph Caillouet and Marie Celeste Thibodeaux. The marriage date is 5 Mar 1832 at St Michael Church. The marriage of Edouard Valpy to Eugenie Panel is in DOBR Volume 6, page 633. Edward is a native of Rhode Island, the son of Richard WALPEY and Susan Owens. He married on 21 Feb 1843 at Ascension Church in Donaldsonville to Eugenie who is the dau of Elie Panvel and Eugenie Pertuit. Suzanne Valpy's birth, 22 Dec 1843, and baptism, 26 Jan 1844 at Ascension Church, are also listed on page 633.
