I am searching for William Wilson, my 4 ggrandfather. I find a William Wilson on the St. Helena War of 1812 Veterans, St. Helena Parish, Louisiana From "Louisiana in the War of 1812", by Powell A. Casey. 2nd Division, 12th & 13th Regiments Consolidated of Louisiana Militia (Florida Parishes, Section East of Amite River, 1814 - 1815) Wilson, William Also on the 1830 Census of St. Helena Par., LA William Wilson FWM 1>5, 1@10-15, 1@ 40-50 FWF 1@10-15, 1@15-20, 1@50-60 Does anyone have a connection to or know this william wilson. My last firm evidence of my William Wilson was in Bayou Sara Records of St. Josephs of Baton Rouge show the following children of Guillermo Wilson and Maria Richeson baptised: 1 Mar 1794 Levi 1 May 1794 Sophia 1 May 1794 Abner(My 3 ggrandfather mar. Mary Richardson in East Feliciana in 1813, then moves to Washinton Parish, and to St. Tamany, and finally to Concordia) 1 May 1794 Elisabeth (some reports that Elizabeth married a Cooper and move to St. Tammany) A William Wilson also appears entries in "Anglo-Americans in Spanish Archives" by L. H. Feldman, pub.1991: Natchez Militia: William Wilson, Rank: Private (no date given) Natchez Names, 1787-1788: William Wilson, 1787 Natchez Origins: There are two separate entries for William Wilson in this section, both are listed as being from North Carolina.
