Robert Wm. & Sarah Ann Russell Carver

Researching Robert William (1820-1896) and his wife, Sarah Ann Russell (1825-1900) who came into LA from MS, probably after the Civil War. Their son, Calvin Green, married Mary Elizabeth Westmoreland, d/o George Washington Westmoreland. Robert said to have had 4 brothers who served in CSA and a brother named Marshall who died of nose bleed. Trying to determine parents of both of these individuals. May have lived in St. Helena prior to moving to Livingston Parish. They later moved to Vernon Parish where they are buried. Also looking for more info on their daughter, Martha, who married Hesikiah Rayborn. She was killed by a falling tree. No children to this union apparently. Any help appreciated. Belford Carver, Hammond, LA bcarver@i-55.com
