Early Stewarts around Darlington, LA

I am interested in corresponding with anyone who has information on the early Stewarts in the East Feliciana and St. Helena Parish areas. I know some of the early settlers in that area had Darlington, SC roots and would like to establish if any of the early Stewarts were from there and p[ossibly related to my John Stewart, Sr. of Darlington, born probably before 1740, unknown location, migrated from Dobbs Co., NC to Darlington about 1773, died there in 1818. The William Stewart in EFP born in NC could be this John's son. Have extensive information on John Stewart, Sr.'s descendants and DNA tests on four of his sons' lines.
